Brave Like Cloe Foundation-Childhood Cancer - Supporting Education
Winnie was rushed to Children’s Hospital Minneapolis on 9/23/24 after some concerning lab results, she was brought into the clinic earlier that day for some abnormal bruising . She was then diagnosed T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Her treatment so far has been strenuous with an initial hospitalization of 15 days and an additional 3 hospitalizations so far
after that.
She is currently 7 months into treatment and they anticipate another 20 months to go.
Winnie has done so amazing, she remains upbeat and happy throughout this grueling process. She always has a smile on her face and loves to make people laugh. She also loves dance, soccer and being outside with friends and family. She and her family, mom (Heather), dad (Clay) and sister (Lux age 9) reside in St. Michael. Both Winnie and Lux go to Fieldstone Elementary.
